	The amendment explicitly allows the Public Utilities Commission (PUC), on its own motion without a petition, to rescind an exemption to an individual consumer-owned water utility or a class of consumer-owned water utilities from certain regulations under Title 35-A. Any additional costs to the PUC are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.
