An Act To Allow Retailers To Return Promotional Alcoholic Beverages to Wholesalers
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 28-A MRSA §1210 is enacted to read:
§ 1210. Retailers may return promotional alcoholic beverages to licensed wholesalers
An off-premises retail licensee may return promotional alcoholic beverages to a licensed wholesaler. The bureau may adopt rules to implement this section. Rules adopted pursuant to this section are routine technical rules pursuant to Title 5, chapter 375, subchapter 2-A.
SUMMARY
This bill changes the liquor laws to allow an off-premises retail licensee to return promotional alcoholic beverages to a licensed wholesaler.
