An Act Regarding Limitations on Certain Storm Water Fees
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. PL 2007, c. 306, §11 is repealed.
Sec. 11. Limitation on certain stormwater fees. The Department of Transportation and the Maine Turnpike Authority are not subject to any fee or tax imposed pursuant to a municipal storm water ordinance that was in effect on January 1, 2007.
SUMMARY
This bill repeals a provision of law exempting the Department of Transportation and the Maine Turnpike Authority from any fees or taxes imposed pursuant to municipal storm water ordinances in effect on January 1, 2007.
