Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require a net General Fund appropriation of $24,087 in fiscal year 2015-16 and $26,277 begining in fiscal year 2016-17 to amend its rules governing MaineCare reimbursement for both adult family care services and private nonmedical institution services to provide supplemental MaineCare reimbursement of an additional 15% to adult family care homes and residential care facilities in remote island locations.
