Fiscal Detail and Notes
The bill changes the minimum eligible age for purchasing a resident junior hunting license and a nonresident junior hunting license from 10 years of age to 8 years of age. This will increase General Fund revenue collected through the Department of Inland Fisheries & Wildlife (IF&W) by an estimated $22,300 annually beginning in fiscal year 2015-16. IF&W expects to increase Federal Expenditures Fund revenue by $20,356 annually for federal grants for the expected increase in licenses issued beginning in fiscal year 2015-16.
