This bill
includes General Fund appropriations of $250,000 per year in both fiscal year
2015-16 and fiscal year 2016-17 to the Maine Coworking Development Program
within the Department of Economic and Community Development to support
collaborative workspace businesses. |

This bill also
creates the Maine Coworking Development Fund as a dedicated fund within the
department to accept contributions and grants from public and private
sources. The fund will require Other
Special Revenue Funds base allocations of $500 in fiscal year 2015-16 and
$500 in fiscal year 2016-17 in order to receive funds from outside sources. |
