An Act To Exempt Diapering Products from the Sales Tax
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 36 MRSA §1760, sub-§101 is enacted to read:
101. Diapers. Sales of disposable and reusable diapers for children, diaper covers and wraps that are used with reusable diapers and diaper pins.
SUMMARY
This bill provides a sales tax exemption for disposable and reusable diapers for children, diaper covers and wraps that are used with reusable diapers and diaper pins.
