Amend the amendment by inserting after the title the following:
Amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting the following:
‘An Act To Clarify Certain Portions of the Marijuana Legalization Act
Amend the amendment by inserting after section 6 the following:
Amend the bill by striking out all of sections 2 to 8.
’Amend the amendment in section 9 in subsection 1 by striking out all of paragraphs D and E (page 3, lines 8 to 11 in amendment) and inserting the following:
Amend the amendment in section 11 in the first line (page 3, line 13 in amendment) by striking out the following: "sub-§§6 and 7 are" and inserting the following: 'sub-§6 is'
Amend the amendment in section 11 by striking out all of subsection 7 (page 2, lines 35 to 38 in amendment)
Amend the amendment by inserting after section 11 the following:
Amend the bill by striking out all of sections 12 and 13 (page 3, lines 13 to 16 in L.D.).
’Amend the amendment by inserting after section 15 the following:
Amend the bill by striking out all of section 16 (page 4, lines 3 and 4 in L.D.).
’SUMMARY
This amendment removes the delay of the implementation of the Marijuana Legalization Act until February 1, 2018 as proposed in the bill.
This amendment does not affect the other changes made by the bill and the committee amendment regarding the prohibition against possession of marijuana or marijuana concentrate by a person under 21 years of age and specifying that personal consumption of marijuana or marijuana concentrate may occur only on private property.
