Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 3 in the 3rd and 4th lines (page 1, lines 6 and 7 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " 7 3 business" and inserting the following: '7 business'

SUMMARY

This amendment shortens the time allowed for a delay in notification to residents of the State of a breach of the security of a system that contains computerized personal information from 7 business days to 7 days. The bill proposes to shorten the time frame from 7 business days to 3 business days.
