An Act To Establish a Minimum Wage for Minors
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 26 MRSA §664, sub-§1-A is enacted to read:
1-A. Training wage. Notwithstanding subsection 1, an employer may pay a person who is under 18 years of age a minimum hourly wage that is 75% of the minimum hourly wage established in subsection 1.
