Amend the bill in section 1 by striking out all of subsection 1 (page 1, lines 19 and 20 in L.D.) and inserting the following:
‘1. One director is appointed by the Bar Harbor town council for a 3-year term, except that the first appointment is for a 2-year initial term;
2. One director is appointed by the superintendent of Acadia National Park for a 3-year term; and’
Amend the bill in section 1 by renumbering the subsections to read consecutively.
SUMMARY
This amendment changes the appointing authority of one of the directors of the Bar Harbor Port Authority established in the bill from the Bar Harbor town council to the superintendent of Acadia National Park.
