The Department of
Environmental Protection will require an appropriation of $61,534 in fiscal
year 2017-18 for one full-time Planning and Research Associate II position to
develop and initiate a program for the prohibition of the sale and
distribution of furniture containing flame-retardant chemicals after January
1, 2018, and for associated rule-making costs. The department will require an
appropriation of $40,011 in fiscal year 2018-19 for one part-time Planning
and Research Associate II position to oversee the program. |
