|
Eliminating Maine
Clean Election Act funding for gubernatorial candidates will reduce
anticipated spending by $4,572,626 in fiscal year 2017-18 and by $1,725,247
in fiscal year 2018-19 from eliminating distributions to gubernatorial
candidates and from elimination of one temporary project position.
Allocations to the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election Practices
is reduced accordingly. The loss of qualifying contributions from
gubernatorial candidates will reduce revenue to the Maine Clean Election Fund
by $124,000 in fiscal year 2017-18 and $60,000 in fiscal year 2018-19. |
