This legislation
requires that the text of each direct initiative must be printed on the
ballot. The Department of Secretary of
State will require a General Fund appropriation of $144,000 in fiscal year
2017-18 to print the text on ballots in the November 2017 election. If direct initiatives are placed on future
ballots, the Department of Secretary of State would require a General Fund
appropriation of $144,000 in each fiscal year. |
