Notes |

|
|
This bill requires
the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to increase the MaineCare
reimbursement rates for evidence-based outpatient psychosocial treatments for
children to cover all costs involved with providing the service and requires
the department to cover 2 additional evidence-based services using General
Fund appropriations to pay service providers to hire and train staff and to
provide treatment. DHHS will need to complete a rate setting process to
identify the appropriation needed for the new services and to establish the
appropriate rates of reimbursement to cover the costs. After the rates and
costs have been determined DHHS will need to request additional
appropriations to implement the new rates. |
