|
This amendment
eliminates the ongoing General Fund appropriations in the bill of $300,000
per year beginning in fiscal year 2017-18 to a newly established Housing
First Assistance Program within the Maine State Housing Authority (MSHA) for
30 housing units and 24-hour housing support services at those units at a
"Housing First" development for chronically homeless individuals
and families. |
|
This amendment
requires that, in fiscal year 2017-18 only, $300,000 of the Housing
Opportunity for Maine Fund's portion of the Real Estate Transfer Tax be
transferred to the Housing First Assistance Program to provide support for the program. |
|
This amendment
includes a one-time Other Special Revenue Funds allocation of $300,000 in
fiscal year 2017-18 to the Housing First Assistance Program and a
corresponding Other Special Revenue Funds deallocation to the Housing
Authority - State program within the Maine State Housing Authority to reflect
the one-time transfer of revenue. |
