This bill
eliminates the requirement that candidates report expenditures of $1,000 or
more within 24 hours to the Commission on Governmental Ethics and Election
Practices. The modification of reporting requirements is anticipated to
result in a minor loss of Other Special Revenue Funds revenue to the
commission because of a reduction in penalties assessed for late-filed
reports. |
