This amendment
eliminates the General Fund appropriations of $114,776 in fiscal year 2017-18
and $79,980 in fiscal year 2018-19 and removes the requirement that the
Department of Education establish a youth mental health first aid training
program for health educators in secondary schools. |

This amendment
requires local school administrative units (SAU's) to establish a youth
mental health first aid training program for its health educators in
secondary schools. This amendment
specifies that the training be provided only if funding is received by the
SAU specifically for this purpose from federal funds, private funds or other
funding sources. |
