Preliminary Fiscal Impact Statement
Minor cost increase - General Fund
Fiscal Detail and Notes
Any additional costs to the Department of Health and Human Services to implement the provisions of this bill are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources.

This bill does add a new eligibility group to the Bridging Rental Assistance Program (BRAP), estimated at 1,100 individuals. The program currently expends the appropriated funds on 970 vouchers and maintains a waitlist for those eligible for the program for which funding is not available. This bill would increase the waitlists for the BRAP program, but would not automatically increase expenditures in the program.
