An Act To Reopen the Downeast Correctional Facility
Sec. 1. Restored operation of Downeast Correctional Facility. Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, the Department of Corrections shall reopen the Downeast Correctional Facility. The facility must remain open and operational, except that the facility may be closed if legislation approving the closure is enacted into law.
Sec. 2. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.
