An Act To Provide Antlerless Deer Permits to Senior Resident Lifetime Hunting License Holders
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §11152, sub-§9 is enacted to read:
9. Senior hunters; antlerless deer. The commissioner shall issue an antlerless deer permit to a person who is 65 years of age or older and possesses a valid senior resident lifetime hunting license under section 10851. A person who is issued an antlerless deer permit under this subsection may take an antlerless deer in any part of the State open to the taking of antlerless deer pursuant to subsection 3.

This bill provides that a person 65 years of age or older who possesses a valid senior resident lifetime hunting license must receive a permit to lawfully take an antlerless deer in any part of the State open to the taking of antlerless deer.
