Amend the bill in section 1 in subsection 3-A in the 2nd line (page 1, line 4 in L.D.) by striking out the following: " to no more than 4 transient guests"
Amend the bill in section 2 in §3803 by striking out all of the paragraph (page 1, lines 8 and 9 in L.D.) and inserting the following:
A municipality may not prohibit the use of a short-term rental.’

This amendment retains the provision of the bill banning a municipality from prohibiting short-term rentals. Municipalities retain the right to restrict the use of short-term rentals. This amendment also removes the 4-person limit in the definition of "short-term rental."
