An Act Regarding Community Service Sentencing
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 17-A MRSA §1345, sub-§4 is enacted to read:
4. With the consent of the municipality in which the offense is committed, the court may sentence an offender described in subsection 1 to perform basic duties for the municipality including litter collection and custodial duties under the supervision of the municipality.
