An Act To Provide Meals to Homebound Individuals
Sec. 1. Work group established. The office of aging and disability services within the Department of Health and Human Services shall convene a work group to research food access barriers, both regionally and statewide, and make recommendations about how to leverage resources to ensure regular, adequate nutrition for homebound individuals in the State and to forecast future demand and identify the appropriate level of funding in the future. The office shall report to the Joint Standing Committee on Health and Human Services by November 1, 2019. The joint standing committee may report out a bill to the Second Regular Session of the 129th Legislature related to the report.
Sec. 2. Appropriations and allocations. The following appropriations and allocations are made.
