An Act To Amend the Charter of the City of Brewer High School District

Sec. 1. P&SL 1925, c. 4, §4, 2nd ¶, 5th sentence  is repealed and the following enacted in its place:

Each trustee of the City of Brewer High School District receives compensation annually as determined by the council of the City of Brewer, except that, beginning in the 2018-19 fiscal year, the president, treasurer and clerk receive additional compensation annually as determined by the council of the City of Brewer.

This bill amends the charter of the City of Brewer High School District to provide that each trustee of the district receives annual compensation as determined by the city council and to provide that the president, treasurer and clerk receive additional annual compensation as determined by the city council. Currently, the district charter provides that only the treasurer receives compensation.
