An Act To Protect Shellfish in the Intertidal Zone by Including within the Definition of "Fish" the Taking of Spat and Seed
Be it enacted by the People of the State of Maine as follows:
Sec. 1. 12 MRSA §6001, sub-§17, as enacted by PL 1977, c. 661, §5, is amended to read:
17. Fish, the verb. The verb "fish" means to take or attempt to take any marine organism , including spat and seed, by any method or means.
