This bill, which is reported out by the Joint Standing Committee on Environment and Natural Resources pursuant to Joint Order 2019, House Paper 883, implements the Department of Environmental Protection's recommendations regarding the State's cellular telephone recycling law as included in the department's annual report on the State's product stewardship programs.
The bill amends the State's cellular telephone recycling law to remove the requirement that cellular telephone service providers submit annual reports to the department regarding the collection and disposal, reuse or recycling of used cellular telephones.
