An Act To Reduce Childhood Exposure to Harmful Ultraviolet Radiation by Allowing Students To Use Sunscreen in Schools
Sec. 1. 20-A MRSA §6307 is enacted to read:
§ 6307. Use of sunscreen in schools
A student who attends a public school may possess and use a topical sunscreen product while on school property or at a school-sponsored event without prior authorization from a parent or legal guardian or a note or prescription from a licensed health care professional.
