This bill
includes a one-time General Fund appropriation of $250,000 to the Maine
Historic Preservation Commission for the Frances Perkins Center to acquire
the Frances Perkins homestead in Newcastle if certain conditions are met. If the Frances Perkins Center does not meet
the conditions established in this legislation, this appropriation will lapse
to the General Fund unappropriated surplus at the end of fiscal year 2019-20. |
