Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
|
|
|
|
|
|
The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$737,169 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $740,055 in fiscal year 2020-21 for
evidence-based education efforts designed to inform residents of the State
about the causes, signs and symptoms of stroke, focusing on populations and
geographic areas most affected by stroke, and to improve stroke surveillance
and epidemiology efforts of the Maine Center for Disease Control and
Prevention (MeCDC) and for one Stroke Care Coordinator position in the
MeCDC.
A more current estimate would increase the FY 2019-20 General Fund
appropriation by $8,856 to $746,025 and the FY 2020-21 General Fund
appropriation by $8,822 to $748,877 from a reclassification of the position
and an increase in the all other costs. |
