Fiscal Detail and Notes
The Department of Health and Human Services will require General Fund appropriations of $1,672,638 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $3,113,728 in fiscal year 2020-21 to allow the MaineCare reimbursement rate for direct care workers for adults with intellectual disabilities or autism to be at least 125% of the state minimum wage. Federal Expenditures Fund allocations will also be required for the FMAP match and Other Special Revenue Funds allocations will be required for the service provider tax.
