This amendment
reduces the General Fund appropriations in the commitee amendment to the
Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) by $433,310 in fiscal year
2019-20 and by $396,845 in fiscal year 2020-21 due to the removal of the
requirements that the DHHS provide at least one week of training to new
employees engaged in adult protective services (APS) and that the ratio of
supervisory positions to caseworker positions in APS and child protective
services is identical. As amended, the bill will still have appropriations of
$805,000 annually beginning in fiscal year 2019-20. |
