The bill includes
a one-time General Fund appropriation of $43,500 in fiscal year 2019-20 to
the Department of Public Safety for the purchase of a new high temperature
thermal destruction incinerator to be used for the destruction of marine
flares and other items as part of the marine flares disposal program. Additional costs to the department
associated with establishing an education campaign and updating the website
can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
