The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$1,487,169 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $1,490,055 in fiscal year 2020-21 to
develop and implement a comprehensive state plan relating to the reduction of
unhealthy weight and obesity and to improve surveillance and epidemiology
related to obesity and for one Obesity Care Coordinator position in the Maine
Center for Disease Control.
