Any additional
costs to the Department of Environmental Protection or the Department of
Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry to encourage the assessment of and
planning for the effects of a change in sea level on relevant state,
regional, municipal or privately held infrastructure, property or resources
are expected to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. |

Municipalities
may incur costs if they choose to rewrite existing comprehensive plans to
incorporate the assessment of and planning for the effects of a change in sea
level. Such rewrites would be voluntary and any related costs are not
expected to be significant. |
