Any additional
costs incurred by the Public Utilities Commission to adopt rules requiring
additional reporting requirements by investor-owned transmission and
distribution utilities on residential, small commercial and medium commercial
customer billing notices are anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed
within existing budgeted resources.
|

Investor-owned
transmission and distribution utilities may incur additional costs to update
billing systems to implement the additional informational requirements on
customer billing notices. These costs
may be passed on to electric utility customers through scheduled rate
cases. The amount of these costs
cannot be determined at this time. |
