|
This bill
establishes an electric vehicle rebate program to be administered by the
Efficiency Maine Trust (EMT) and creates two funds, the Electric Vehicle Fund
and the Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Fund. The program and
associated funds will receive revenue from federal funds or awards, the
interest generated by these funds and from other public or private
sources. It is anticipated that the
revenue derived from these sources will be sufficient to fund the program
activities outlined in the bill and the administrative costs of the program
for the EMT. |
