|
The Community
Development Block Grant program within the Department of Economic and
Community Development will require one-time General Fund appropriations
totaling $187,357 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $63,303 in fiscal year 2020-21
for the New Remote Worker Grant Program that begins on January 1, 2020 and
ends on December 31, 2020. Of these
amounts, $47,357 and $53,303 in fiscal years 2019-20 and 2020-21,
respectively, are provided for one limited-period Development Program Manager
position and related All Other costs to design and implement the one-year
pilot program to encourage remote workers to relocate to the State. General Fund appropriations of $140,000 in
fiscal year 2019-20 and $10,000 in fiscal year 2020-21 are provided for
marketing and for grants to reimburse certified relocation costs. |
