Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$1,000,000 beginning in fiscal year 2019-20 to contract with a peer-supported
recovery center designated by the department as a regional peer-supported
recovery center under the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 5, section 20056 to
expand recovery support services in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties and
the greater Bangor region.
The program number of the account included in the bill is 0679, which is an
old number that is no longer in use. If the bill is to move forward the
funding should be in program Z199, which is still the Office of Substance
Abuse and Mental Health Services. |
