Any additional
costs to the Public Utilities Commission as a result of the inclusion of
specific requirements in their approval of a long-term energy and capacity
contract between Maine Aqua Ventus I, GP, LLC and Central Maine Power Company
are anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed within existing budgeted
resources. This agreement may include specific power purchase rates not tied
to the market rate for electricity, the cost of which may be passed on to
electric utility customers through scheduled rate cases. |
