This bill requires
the Department of Health and Human Services to amend rules to include a
Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program participant's attendance at
the medical and mental health appointments of the participant's children as a
life management skill and job readiness activity. This activity is not
federally approved under 45 CFR 261, which could adversely affect the State’s
federal Work Participation Rates, resulting in penalites if they are not met. |
