|
This bill codifies
in statute the current level of funding provided to the University of Maine
Cooperative Extension by the Board of Pesticides Control (BPC) within the
Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry. Beginning in fiscal
year 2019-20, the BPC will annually transfer $65,000 in Other Special Revenue
Funds revenue from the registration of pesticides and pesticide dealers to
the University of Maine Cooperative Extension. |

The bill includes ongoing Other Special
Revenue Funds allocations of $65,000 per year beginning in fiscal year
2019-20 to the University of Maine Cooperative Extension to develop and
revise training manuals for pesticide applicator certification, licensing and
recertification. |
