|
The bill includes
General Fund appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services of
$25,569 in fiscal year 2019-20 and $27,292 in fiscal year 2020-21 for the
reorganization of one State Health Officer and Director Maine Center for
Disease Control and Prevention position from range 61 to range 70 to align
the compensation with the assigned duties and qualifications. Other Special
Revenue Funds allocations will also be required for the federal match.
The proposed 2020-21 biennial budget includes an initiative to increase the
funding of this position. If that budget initiative is approved, the funding
in this bill would no longer be required. |
