This bill
includes ongoing General Fund appropriations of $500,000 per year beginning
in fiscal year 2019-20 to the Temporary Housing Assistance Fund within the
Maine State Housing Authority to assist low-income individuals to become
stable tenants. |
|
Any additional
costs to the Department of Health and Human Services to examine opportunities
to provide home and community based services to individuals experiencing
homelessness and reporting back to the legislature are expected to be minor
and can be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
