|
|
This bill amends
the laws regarding the reduction of toxins in packaging to prohibit the sale
of food packaging in the State to which phthalates, perfluoroalkyl or
polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have been intentionally introduced,
effective January 1, 2022. Any additional costs to the Department of
Environmental Protection for additional regulatory responsibilities and for
related rulemaking are anticipated to be minor and can be absorbed within
existing budgeted resources. |
