Class E crimes.
The additional workload associated with the minimal number of new cases
filed in the court system does not require additional funding at this
time.
The collection of additional fine revenue will increase General Fund and
dedicated revenue by minor amounts. |

This bill
includes General Fund appropriations of $400,000 in fiscal year 2019-20 and
$250,000 in fiscal year 2020-21 to the newly established Big Moose Mountain
Regional Development Authority for the initial startup and ongoing
administrative and operating costs of the authority. |

Additional costs
to the Finance Authority of Maine to issue the required certificate of
approval before the authority can issue bonds can be absorbed within existing
budgeted resources. |
