Fiscal Detail
and Notes |
The bill adjusts
appropriations to the Legislature to reflect the elimination of the Child
Care Advisory Council and the Maine Children's Growth Council and the
creation of the Maine Children's Cabinet Early Childhood Advisory Council.
These adjustments result in a net deappropriation to the Legislature of
$4,040 per year. |
The bill also
establishes allocation in the Federal Expenditures Fund and the Other Special
Revenue Funds to allow the council to expend any funding received from the
sources specified in the bill. |
Additional costs
to the Governor's Office, the Department of Education and the Department of
Health and Human Services associated with serving on the council can be
absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
