The Department of
Environmental Protection will require an ongoing allocation of $500,0000
starting in fiscal year 2020-21 from the Maine Ground and Surface Waters
Clean-up and Response Fund (MGSWCR) within the Department of Environmental
Protection for loans and grants for rebate programs to retrofit, repair,
replace or remove aboveground and underground oil storage tanks and
associated piping at residential dwellings.
The MGSWCR has sufficient resources to fund additional expenditures. |
