This bill
increases the processing fee for a Board of Environmental Protection
permit-by-rule application from $50 to $250.
Based on the average number of annual permits in previous years, the
fee increase will generate an estimated $222,615 in fiscal year 2019-20 and
$296,820 annually thereafter in revenue for the Department of Environmental
Protection. The bill includes Other
Special Revenue Funds allocations of $222,615 in fiscal year 2019-20 and
$296,820 in fiscal year 2020-21 to allow for the expenditure of the
additional revenue. |
