Any additional
costs to the Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry as a result
of new requirements regarding the confinement of egg-laying hens and a
prohibition on the sale of eggs from hens that are not kept in cage-free
housing systems after December 31, 2029 are anticipated to be minor and can
be absorbed within existing budgeted resources. |
